What will you do ?
You play a crucial role in building high-quality mobile applications and ensuring their seamless integration with our backend systems. Your work ensures that our users enjoy a smooth and responsive experience. 

This is how you do it:

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and develop mobile applications using React Native.

• Building and optimizing a Backend for Frontend (BFF) layer to bridge the mobile app and backend APIs.

• Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Troubleshooting and debugging issues to optimize performance.

• Continuously exploring and implementing new technologies to maximize efficiency.

For this role you will work for the brands three brands: AutoTrack, Gaspedaal & Autowereld. We list thousands of dealers and hundreds of thousands of cars on these platforms. Currently, our team is busy with multiple technology transformations within our technical landscape.

What makes you the ideal candidate ?
For this role, we are looking for a professional who is optimistic, involved, motivated, and creative. In addition, you bring:

• Proven experience as a React Native Developer

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and the React Native framework

• Experience in developing and deploying NodeJS (NextJS) server-side applications

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend integration

• Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux

• Understanding of mobile development best practices and design patterns

• Experience in optimizing mobile applications for performance

• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in writing automated tests for mobile applications

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with other mobile development frameworks (iOS, Android).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
