Azure Cloud Engineer

What will you be doing as a Azure Cloud Engineer at Independer?

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, specifically with Microsoft Azure. Our aim is to use services as managed as possible and deploy these by using Infrastructure as Code. 

Your responsibilities:

• Implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Create and maintain dashboards to monitor cloud resources and their costs.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Monitoring the security, both the WAF and IPDS
• Collaborate with development and data teams to expand and enhance the cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure services and cloud technologies and advice on improvements, both technical and costs.

What we are looking for in our new colleague?

• Certification: AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) and SC-300 (Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator).
• Experience: Proven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in creating and managing dashboards using Azure Monitor, Azure Dashboard, or similar tools
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep.
• Powershell/CLI knowledge is a bonus

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to haves:

• Additional certifications in Azure
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of network security and identity management in Azure.
