AI engineer - GenAI platform

DPG Media is a leading media company operating primarily in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Denmark. It manages a broad portfolio of print, online, and broadcast media brands, reaching millions of individuals daily. The Recommendation & Search area has developed an internal
platform named ChatDPG to support its colleagues in various content creation processes through
Generative AI (GenAI) applications. This secure and responsible platform serves as the primary
entry point for both technical and non-technical teams within the organization to embark on their
GenAI journey.

As a GenAI Platform Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to grow the ChatDPG platform to support use cases across all business units. You will also provide direct consulting and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to help stakeholders integrate genAI into their daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the internal GenAI platform: ChatDPG
• Guide stakeholders in integrating GenAI in their applications/use-cases. This can be by
• assisting stakeholders in prompt engineering, model choice, explaining limitations of models, ect. Furthermore, you should ensure that GenAI is implemented responsibly, allowing humans to always review and verify the generated output.
• Make sure that all best practices are documented in a knowledge base (Confluence, documentation service, within the application)
• Implement innovative solutions across different modalities such as text, video and audio (STT).

Profile

• Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in machine learning development in production systems
• Excellent software development skills
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker. Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• In depth knowledge of prompt engineering
• Passionate about all developments regarding AI en LLMs
• Not afraid to take new challenges and eager to learn
• (plus) Experience with front end development
