Hoofddorp - As a Senior Drupal developer you’ll be working on the rebuild of one of our biggest websites within Magazines and this will be the blueprint for several other titles to migrate next year. We will be using Drupal as the default platform which is why we’re looking for someone who can help us build this in a robust and future-proof way.
What you will be doing
In September, we’ll start with the rebuild. You’ll be one of the first Drupal developers we are hiring for this permanent position. Our ambition is to form a stellar Drupal development team, make use of the latest Drupal standards (and push it even further) and actively participate within the Drupal community. Your main responsibilities are:
Setting the development standards for our Drupal platform and communicate this to the other developers.
Keep the architectural overview of the whole stack.
Participate as a developer with the highest coding standards.
Motivate and coach the other team members and review their work.
Align with other technical areas within DPG Media.
Setting up the CI/CD pipeline on AWS together with our dev/ops engineer.

Who are you
You are a very experienced Drupal developer who’s had a senior/lead position for several years and several Drupal projects, having worked with the most recent Drupal versions. You have extensive knowledge of (Drupal) infrastructure and are able to work well together on this with our dev/ops engineer. Also, you know where to use standard Drupal functionality and where to use custom code. Furthermore, you:
Have experience with: Drupal back-end and front-end, Drupal infrastructure on AWS, PHP 7.1and API development (SOAP, REST)
Know how to motivate a team and are able to explain your technical vision to the rest of the team. You’re also able to assist other team members when needed.
Nice to have: Ansible, Terraform, Vagrant.
