Our challenge for you

As a Security Engineer at DPG Online Services, you will lead our efforts to passionately protect our clients, business and employees and will be a key member of the Online Services Technology Teams.

What this means for you:

• You have a clear view: You have a good view on where each of the BUs stands security wise, what it would take to further improve security and are able to translate that into a clear and joint security roadmap with clear actions for each of the BUs, the central DPG Security and IT teams and yourself;

• You pull-up your sleeves and help solve issues: You interpret reports coming in through bug bounty programs and the Bot Manager attack reports, you assist in an ISO 27001 risk mitigation process, you convey the importance of security throughout the company, you help automate the security process in the SDLC and audit and help improve the architecture;

• You are the driving force of the delivery: You generate enthusiasm and commitment around the roadmap and help keep track of the progress on the roadmap together with the security leads of each of the BUs and the central DPG security team and are the driving force of the delivery on it. In this you are also a clear advocate of the importance of security throughout the company and the go to person for security related questions;

• You are a full member of the Online Services Technology Teams: You're not afraid to assist with less technical issues either, such as strategy development, keeping track of progress of the Online Services IT roadmap, rolling up your sleeves to push topics forward that are moving too slow, assisting in preparing decisions on replacements of systems and components, proofreading technical measures in contracts, etc.

Who you are

• Passionate and experienced Security professional that wants to make a difference for our customers (protect their data and platform);

• Full of energy to make a difference, a friendly and analytical ‘pitbull’ that does not stop until he delivers;

• Strong knowledge of Web Application Firewall, Bot Manager, Page Integrity Manager, DNS Security, Domain security;

• Good knowledge of how to secure Front-end applications and Paygates;

• Not frowning when hearing the term 'OWASP' (known for their "Top 10" and their best practices);

• Knowledge of web security best practices (TLS, security headers, ...) and microservices architecture (REST APIs, ...)';

• Basic understanding of Java and JavaScript (development experience is a big plus);

• Basic knowledge of security in AWS.
