It will be more of an interactive web application then a traditional website and we have big plans for some exciting new features after launch, so there will be plenty of challenges ahead!

What you will be doing

You’ll be one of our developers working on the highly interactive, responsive website. Quality of code and maintaining a future proof code base is one of your priorities.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Share your knowledge with your colleagues and other teams.

About the team

You will be working in the Magazines area which is responsible for a numerous amount of magazine titles, like Veronica Superguide, Donald Duck magazine, Tina and Flair and some of the supporting applications.

The Veronica Superguide team works dedicated on the new website, and is one of the three development teams within the area. Although the teams work independently, we encourage knowledge sharing and reuse of technology and tooling. This also makes it possible to switch between teams.

Our technologies

We use React/Next.js, Typescript, Drupal as a CMS and Kotlin for the back-end. We make use of Elasticsearch and our infrastructure is within AWS where we make use of serverless services where possible. Also, we highly value testing as we want to ensure the best user experience

We offer

  • An experience-based salary.
  • 36-hour workweek.
  • 12% personal choice budget (of which 8% is holiday allowance).
  • Participation in the profit sharing arrangement.
  • Personal development opportunities such as education, training and certificates.
  • Working with the latest stack.
  • Knowledge sharing from our tech colleagues.
