Amsterdam - As a Java developer within our Advertising Area you will help us create and facilitate a flawless, user-friendly, automated, cost-efficient and future proof lead-to-cash advertising process for the Netherlands and Belgium. 


What will you be doing

Because you’re working in a huge landscape with advanced technologies, you will keep on learning every day. You will build serverless cloud solutions and backend applications/features while always striving for the best code quality. Your main tasks are:

  • Designing, coding, testing, deploying implementing and monitoring, going through the full cycle.
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve the system to make it more robust, scalable and work fluently.
  • Have meetings with your team to discuss the progress. 


Our stack: Java, REST, Spring, Gradle, AWS Services, Maven, Hibernate and NodeJs.


About the team
You will be working in a cross-functional Scrum team. Each and every one of us is driven by the passion for our products and we find teamwork, taking initiative and having an agile mindset to be important. 

Aside from you own team, we have over 500 IT professionals with an expertise in different technologies so there’s always a possibility for asking questions.

Job requirements

Who are you

You love learning new things and keep a close eye on technological evolutions. You are open-minded and critical with a no-nonsense approach: always looking for the ‘why’ of things. We also expect of you:


  • At least 5 years of professions experience with Java 8, Spring, Amazon Web Services. Experience with Java 11 is a great advantage. 
  • Passionate about IT and development, always focused on quality.
  • You should be familiar with ORM, Document store, AOP, DDD and SOLID.
  • You have a team-oriented Agile mindset and experience with Scrum and/or other agile methodologies.
