Infrastructure cloud architect

Job description

Amsterdam - As infrastructure cloud architect, you will be responsible for our organisation-wide design choices related to cloud infrastructure. Your first focus will be the to work on the cloud infrastructure of the newly acquired Sanoma NL. Afterwards you will contribute to the Cloud Vision of DPG media. 

What you will be doing
As you contribute to our organisation’s cloud infrastructure, you will develop policies, standards and procedures for the designated service line and integrate them into the existing systems and processes. Along with this comes the management of complex organizational changes. You will also advise and support the different teams with their cloud challenges. You actively work on:

  • Overall design choices for network / security / telephony / workplaces / and other generic infrastructure and supporting services, both on prem and in AWS.
  • New implementations and migrations.
  • Managing suppliers.

About the team

You will be part of a team of architects whom you will work together with. Though they’re not focused on the cloud infrastructure, they have their expertise with which they will act as a sparring partner for you. Job requirements

Who are you

You have experience as a solution architect & executive for solution-oriented, new implementations and migrations. You have extensive AWS knowledge (level AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional) & extensive hands-on experience. Beside that, you have sufficient knowledge of other cloud providers such as Azure & GCP. Needless to say, security & cloud governance are in your DNA. Also you:

  • Are used to working independently and on a project basis in a team and have a pragmatic attitude.
  • Take initiatives and can convince others to make the right choices.
  • Have the ability to continuously improve productivity.
  • Are used to set up templates / landing zones & have worked with several DevOps Tools.
  • Have worked in an international context.
  • Speak both English and Dutch on a professional level.
