Amsterdam - As DevOps Engineer you are part of a Scrum team. You facilitate the developers in smoothly running development-, test-, acceptance- and production environments. To achieve this you are responsible to choose and use the latest technologies and methodologies, like Docker, Kubernetes and Continuous Deployment.

What will you do

• Design, build and maintain cutting-edge AWS cloud based infrastructure services for internal customers
• Utilise configuration management tools to automate processes and to create a consistent environment
• Utilise monitoring tools to proactively identify and to resolve (potential) problems
• Troubleshoot issues across the entire stack - hardware, software, application and network
• Facilitate an operational security process to make sure security risks are kept to a minimum
• Document current and future processes and policies and make them repeatable

Who are you?

• Have a Bachelor or Master in computer science or a related field
• Have at least 2 years experience in managing online services in a Linux environment
• Are familiar with configuration management and orchestration software, for example Puppet or Ansible
• Possess knowledge of shell scripting and/or dynamic languages, for example BASH or Python
• Have experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform and Docker
